Sheffield 10 on Foot & by Bus

'A Walk on the South Yorks. & Derbyshire Border' 20.8MB 1:15 min silent

'A Ride on the 51 Bus' 34.2MB 5:00 min

Take the 51 bus to Lodge Moor. Walk up Redmires Road to Wyming Brook
(the video starts here).
Continue up Redmires Road until you come to the second Redmires dam.
Take the marked path that goes off to the right, by the overflow channel
(marked something like "easy trail").
Carry on along here until the agricultural land on your right comes to a stop,
giving way to moorland.
Go through the gate on your right & take the path which parallels the wall.
At the end of the wall turn right but watch out for a path that forks off to the left,
towards the line of trees in the distance.
When you reach the woods take the path to the right which descends towards
the old Wyming Brook/Rivelin Dams road, now a walking & biking trail.
Turn right, uphill, & continue until you reach Wyming Brook again (the video finishes here).
You can either walk back to the 51 terminus at Lodge Moor, along the road past the old
prisoner of war camp or take the more scenic route through the pine woods overlooking the ravine.

In the Spring of 2003 I started making tiny QuickTime movies, as a kind of moving image dream diary.
This quickly became a major focus of my work & I have made at least two or three every month since.
In 2006 I arranged them in their current, semi-chronological, format (everything from April 2003 - Dec 2005 appears in the first four months of 2006).
All the movies, new & old, still live in the same folder & can be accessed from there too.
You may freely download & remix any of them, though I would appreciate a credit.
Where credits are due to others for material I have appropriated or remixed, or for
performances, I will include a note with the posts here.
All music, except where otherwise stated, is by me.
I hope you like the movies, though of course I will continue to make & post them whether you do or not (but my thanks for looking!).
If you're interested enough you can read more about them here, here & here.
